The Anti Ragging Committee (ARC) at Indira Institute of Technology is a dedicated body committed to upholding a ragging-free environment on campus, adhering to a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging as mandated by the UGC and institutional guidelines.Established to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, the committee actively prevents and addresses instances of ragging through proactive measures such as awareness campaigns, posters, and one-on-one counseling sessions to foster a culture of respect and mutual support.

Comprising members from teaching and non-teaching staff, the ARC investigates complaints promptly and ensures appropriate action —including disciplinary measures—against those found guilty, in line with legal and institutional regulations. This aligns with the college’s mission to provide a secure and conducive learning environment, as emphasized by policies where ragging is strictly prohibited and violations result in immediate consequences.
